TQ Global Master’s Student Scholarship Program 3rd Intake

TQ Global has been sponsoring the Master’s Program Scholarship since 2006 and to date we have sponsored 21 Master’s Students under this program.  One of TQ Global main business is in game development, we delivered the “Baja-Edge of Control” in 2008 which is a PS3 and Xbox game. It was the first such game produced in Singapore. Currently, we are working on state of the art 3D Arcade Game and MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online).

TQ Global had received IDM-NRF (National Research Foundation) funding in research and MDA grant in game development.  TQ Motor also received patent in China for our game engine.

TQ Global Game R&D Master’s Degree Scholarship
TQ scholarship program is a Master Program by Research.  The right candidate will be working on game related R&D project. This program was developed to drive the local game development and to make Singapore the global center for next generation and advanced game development.

TQ Global will pay for all tuition fees. In addition, a student will receive a monthly stipend of S$2,200 to S$2,500 depending on each individual’s ability.  Students are required to work on TQ Global designated R&D projects. For more details, please see  here

Terms and Condition
All students will be bonded to work for TQ Global for 2 years or the duration of their research candidature after their graduation.  If a student decides not to work for TQ Global after his or her graduation, he or she has to reimburse TQ Global for the tuition and the stipends.

Qualification for Application
The program is opened to all candidates, Singaporean or non-Singaporean.  Candidate must fulfill entrance qualifications of NTU and has a Second Class Honors or equivalent.  In addition, all candidates need take an entry test to determine his or her ability.
